Dr. Kyle Smith founded Smith Family Medicine to offer a different kind of primary care—one built around time, access, and genuine partnership between physician and patient.

Background & Training

BS in Molecular Biology from Brigham Young University. MD and MBA from UC Irvine. Family Medicine Residency at Sutter Sacramento, where he served as adjunct faculty from 2020–2025.

Clinical Experience

Extensive experience in adult and pediatric medicine, obstetrics and newborn care, and hospital-based medicine. Known for clinical skill and commitment to continuity of care.

A Placer County native, Dr. Smith lives in Roseville with his wife and three children. Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, reading, and spending time with family.

Matt Snarr, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Matt Snarr is a Physician Assistant known for his thorough, calm, and approachable style. With years of full-spectrum outpatient and urgent care experience, he focuses on listening first, explaining clearly, and helping patients feel informed and confident—especially in stressful moments.

Background & Training

BS in Exercise Science from Utah Valley University. MPAS from Rocky Mountain College. Trained at Sutter and has worked in primary care and urgent care settings since graduation.

Clinical Excellence

Since 2021, has worked at Lincoln and Granite Bay Urgent Care, widely respected for diagnostic skill, calm demeanor, and approachable style in high-pressure situations.
